Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
This site is run by B.A.G Built Around Genetics ("we", "us"). You can reach us any time through our contact page.
What we collect
- Email sign-ups. If you join our list or ask to be notified about a product, we keep your email address, the product and size you picked, and when you signed up.
- Messages. If you contact us, we keep your name, email address, order number and message so we can reply.
- Orders. Payments are taken by our checkout provider. They handle your card details; we never see or store them. We receive your name, address and order details so your order can be made and delivered.
- Your bag. What is in your bag is saved in your own browser's storage, not on our servers.
Why we use it
To make and deliver your order, reply to you, and send the emails you asked for. We use your email for marketing only if you asked to join our list, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us run the shop: our checkout and payment providers, our UK production partner (name, address and order details so your order can be printed and posted) and delivery companies. We never sell your data.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site saves your bag in your browser's local storage, and our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when it sends them.
How long we keep it
Sign-ups until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Messages for up to two years. Order records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Ask through our contact page. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
